After a rough night, myself and the other survivors decided to head from Chicago to Washington. The mountains have got to have a smaller undead population than the city. There are seven of us here. We have found sufficient supplies and are working on finding a functioning vehicle. Wish us luck.
I have hit a writers block today, but I am hoping blogging will remedy any blocks I encounter. Writing this book really is like strategizing survival. I need to figure out where the characters will go, what they will do, how THEY will survive. I also have to plan for every unforseen event that may arise.
So far, in the book, things have just begun. The first "zombie" has been discovered, a seven year old little girl. The cause of the outbreak has been discovered. There are two protagonists in this story, an engaged couple, who have been separated. The premise of the story is simple, two people trying to reach each other in the midst of chaos. The chapters alternate each characters trials and tribulations to reach the other. Each chapter after five will begin with journal entries. I am hoping it will work, and I hope it will be something readers will want more of. There have been only a handful of great zombie tales in the written word, my goal is to be one of those writers.
