Day one: hour nineteen: minute fifty-five

The world as we know it has changed.

The undead have invaded every city in every country. Chicago, New York, Washington DC.......all in ruins. There are few survivors, and fewer guns. How will the people who are left survive? Will they be able to re-build what has been destroyed?

This is my first REAL attempt at blogging......so here goes nothing.

I find my creativeness overflowing as of late. I have always loved zombies. Always figuring out how I would survive an outbreak, where I would go, who I would take with me. I look around my house from time to time and take inventory of what could be used to crush an undead skull, lol. I am a dork, I fully admit it. So, now I am writing about them.
I didn't always write about zombies, I started two years ago writing paranormal romance. (And before anyone even says ANYTHING, no, not like Twilight.) I wrote about "real" vampires, no glitter, no over-styled hair, no warewolves trying to steal the protagonist's woman. "Real" vampires, if there is a such thing, doing what they do naturally, while finding time for the occasional human booty call.
After two years, and almost four completed books in series, I realized I wasn't passionate about what I was writing. Sure, writing steamy sex scenes is fun some of the time, but there was too much drama, lol. Zombies are my passion. I started writing poems and verse, and that quickly turned into three chapters of a new novel, in a different genre. I am really enjoying the whole zombie/apocalypse thing. The words flow so easily, the plots pop up in my head repeatedly, the gory details are SO much more fun to write than foreplay and finding yet another word for penis.
My target date to have this book finished is February 2012. It will be the first in a series of four. I am hoping I will have the guts to publish this one.
So to anyone who comes across my blog, enjoy!
